SPA VILNIUS Massage Specialists Among the Winners of the 2nd Open Lithuanian Cosmetologists and Beauty Therapists Massage Competition

The international beauty exhibition Pelenė was held for the 31st time at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO. On April 12–13, 2024, the Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists organized two professional competitions. The 14th Open Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists Competition brought together specialists from across Lithuania, while the 2nd Open Lithuanian Cosmetologists and Beauty Therapists Massage Competition showcased outstanding massage professionals, including representatives of SPA VILNIUS, who earned top positions in the professional category.

Competition winner Viktorija Paukštienė demonstrated that SPA VILNIUS specialists have truly mastered the art of Kobido facial massage. Laura Urbanaitė, who secured third place, proved that a well-executed classical facial massage improvisation can be just as effective as a Kobido treatment.

Viktorija Paukštienė performed a Japanese therapeutic facial massage combined with facial lymphatic drainage using rose quartz massage sticks. Kobido massage is renowned for creating deep relaxation throughout the entire body. Viktorija’s journey into massage began 14 years ago while studying physiotherapy. She later completed massage training and beauty therapy studies.

Participating in the competition allowed her to challenge herself, step outside her comfort zone, showcase her skills, and experience new emotions and excitement.

“I truly enjoy helping people improve both their physical and emotional wellbeing through the power of touch. For me, it feels like a calling. I love my work and feel that I am exactly where I am meant to be,” says Viktorija.

She continues to develop her expertise through advanced training in facial and body treatments, including massage techniques and other professional procedures. While Viktorija already has plans for future competitions, she prefers to keep details about upcoming professional challenges to herself for now.

Laura Urbanaitė demonstrated her skills through a classical back massage using ESPA Detoxifying Oil and a classical facial massage incorporating elements of chiromassage and soothing strokes. This combination is designed to reduce stress, promote deep relaxation, and revitalize soft tissues.

Laura was encouraged to participate in the competition by her colleagues and her own curiosity to evaluate her skills and gain new experience. It was her first professional competition.

Her journey into the world of massage began while exploring career opportunities in cosmetology. During her internship after graduation, she was offered a position as a beauty therapist and massage specialist at a SPA centre, where she decided to continue her career.

“I love working with both the face and the body. What makes this field so rewarding is its dynamic nature – there is always something new to learn and always room for growth,” Laura explains.

Her immediate goals include continuing her professional development, embracing new challenges, and sharing positive energy with others.

We are proud of our colleagues and congratulate them once again on their achievements.
